Hangs for me and takes a few refreshes to get it to load (eventually).

quigger, that's exactly the same as what I get. I've no idea why we're similar and have similar issues.
Full spec - i've got BT Vision with the sky sports pack, BT Infinity. Home setup is HH3 and white router, BT Vision is connected through powerline adapters. Also have phone system on wireless. I'm on the exchange SSMID.
Anything similar to yours?
Its highly unlikely it is the exchange or even the router assuming you have not closed any ports (i.e. fiddled with the advanced settings).

There are loads of help available just a quick search away, my hunch is that both your firewalls are causing the problem as you say you have eliminated the most common issue which is the browser. Eliminate that before blaming the most unlikely which is the Infinity connection.
I had missed that but I would suggest that as only two people are having problems the most likely issue is local rather than systemic. Two people is probably coincidental. If there was a wide spread network issue that affected major https sites lots of us who use on line banking or shopping sites would see the effect i.e. almost every user. BT's network trafffic is not direct from each exchange but via a common backbone, firewalling and security will be centralised.
