Re: BT Infinity issues for the last few days

Quote Unhappy666 "As you see, my Browser tries to connect to a website, and the device in BTs network is blackhole-ing it. It is L4 aware, as at the same time another connection will establish. Thats why you see always have rendered websites."

When you say blackhole-ing it would this explain my strange tracert results to ea servers?

Re: BT Infinity issues for the last few days

The scary thing is end users on here can diagnose this issue quicker than BT can acknowledge it.

Re: BT Infinity issues for the last few days

@unhappy666 - The issue is not purely with Port 80/443 TCP traffic; the same symptoms can be replicated across multiple ports and protocols including UDP/53 for DNS and FTP, SMTP/POP etc. I'm also keen to understand where you're seeing the BT device in your tcpdump to come to the conclusion that the traffic is being blackhole'd?

Re: BT Infinity issues for the last few days

@DaveNI1979 - On your traceroute results hop 7 is outside of the BT network and belongs to the DDOS protection company Prolexic who provide a range of services to EA to filter and mitigate attacks against its network so it seems unrelated - http://www.ipinfo.io/AS19541

Re: BT Infinity issues for the last few days

I am at work now and have beautiful fast speed on a ADSL connection!

Something funny is going on and BT know it but they are just trying to hide the fact!

They are obvously stuggling to fix the problem and telling people to say there is nothing wrong and it is something with their own connection.

all lies!

Re: BT Infinity issues for the last few days

Having the same problems here. I thought my HH5 hand gone up the spout, until I read this thread.

It's especially bad with Sky on demand, BBC iPlayer on my TV is unusable and most services on my Roku are not working.

It seems better on my laptop tonight for some reason, but I've been having problems with weboages loading for the past few days, esspecially bad on my phone and tablet, but also on my laptop to a lesser extenet.

Would be good if BT would update their status page. I checked that a couple of days ago and it said no problems, checked just now and says no problems. What's the point in the status page??
