I had BT infinity 2 installed at the end of November and I have had nothing but problems. I was advised when joining I would only get a speed of abt 22-34mbps however am yet to see anything near this.
The best wired speed I have seen is 15mbps and on the wireless i am getting between 1-10mbps.
When we are connected by wireless it keeps dropping out and the range is a lot worse than the old Talk Talk broardband, even with the range extender we struggle to get signal.
I have spent another 1hr 15 mins on the phone again tonight and yet again told that they will check the settings and monitor it for 24 hrs.
It has got to the stage where i have spent abt 15 hrs on the phone and 1 afternoon off work while the technician was here and its still not working properly. I just want to cancel it, but I get told that there is a cancellation policy. Can anybody please shed some light on this matter.
If you were told that you would only be able to get 22-34Mbps why did you go for Infinity 2. Infinity 1 can deliver speeds upto 38Mbps and if you can not achieve that even on a good day you are paying for something you can't get.
If you cancel now you would be libel to cancellation fees which would more or less amount to the money you would pay until the end of your contract.
