BT Infinity powerline adapters?

If I wanted a powerline adapter for infinity (if i ever get it) but didnt want to fork out £50.00 then they dont work (Bad wiring, sockets not all linked, etc) could the infinity engineer bring some and test them, then i pay him for them if they work or buy some in the future? also do u get free powerline adapters with bt vision or 100meg broadband or both?

Re: BT Infinity powerline adapters?

As far as I know, it will be Open Reach engineer.

My experience of them, is they could not tie their shoelaces..................PMSL

You might receive a wise Open Reach.............

If you buy **bleep** adaptors, you will recieve **bleep** thoughput..........

Re: BT Infinity powerline adapters?

Don't judge powerline adapters on your wiring, for the majority it works fine.

Re: BT Infinity powerline adapters?

I bought these http://www.maplin.co.uk/tp-link-av-mini-200mbps-powerline-kit-634717 working great for me. I was getting 29% packet loss at first, then I changed too a different socket and I'm getting more or less the same as plugging into the router.
