BT Mail screen format

The screen layout of BT Mail seems to have changed. The left-hand column width of Folders is reduced so that I cannot easily get to the Trash symbol. If I try to widen it, it still obscures the Trash symbol.

Re: BT Mail screen format

You are correct. If you hover over the various folders the icons are partially revealed and can be clicked on but only just.

It does not happen on earlier versions of the webmail page, so this would appear to related to the "update" to version 2.19.1. Yet another unintended consequence of the email teams tinkering.

I have notified the moderators so that they can pass this onto the email team.

Hi @IanLoughlin I'm really sorry you're experiencing this problem after the update, I've highlighted your post with the email team who are unable to replicate the problem on Edge, Chrome or Safari and have asked for your assistance in understanding this better. I've sent you a private message so you can get in touch with the moderation team.

Re: BT Mail screen format

I have also forwarded information that may assist the email team. I found that if you go to your web page "zoom" and drop it to 80% the icons are revealed.

The are also revealed if you close your "My Folders" so that any sub-folders are not showing. This closes the columns slider so it may be related to that.

Re: BT Mail screen format

Thanks for the email nudge. I have not yet received notification of a fix or workaround. SInce it's not affecting me operationally I have not assigned it as a high priority (for me).

I see that others have observed the same problem so it's not just my account or configuration that's at fault.

Incidentally I have two bt email addresses, ie joebloggs@btinternet.com and joebloggs2@btinternet.com the spacing and layout is OK with the second address.

Ian
