BT Mobile Data Allowance

Hi,

Hoping someone can help please,

I recently regraded my services and went from Halo to Fibre 1 however I am still being given the double data on my mobile and I am concerned that I will be charged for this, please can someone clarify.

The mobile data allowance downgrade is most likely pending until your next billing cycle, once your next bill is produced it should fix update correctly, if not speak with the Mobile connections team.

It's to stop any nasty suprises, if you have 5GB doubled to 10GB with Halo, you use 8GB but then remove Halo and go to a non-Halo product, suddenly you'd be 3GB over your allowance and at 10p per mb that's a big shock.

Hi Richie,

Thank you for getting back to me,

I downgraded last month so am now into the next billing cycle. The odd thing is that my pdf bill shows I only have 12gb data. However on my app it shows 24gb and online account also shows 24gb. 

Is there a direct contact number for the mobile connections team as I always struggle to get hold of the correct department.

You have what's known as a data integrity issue, nothing to worry about and a lot get found and fixed automatically with system sweeps.
Give the mobile connections team a call on 0800 800 150 or 150 from your BT Mobile, they'll raise an offline request to the DI team who will have it resolved in a few days, it's not impacting you finacially at least.
