Re: BT Openreach engineer says i can get Bt Infinity but BT customer services says i can,t ?

Your best bet is to send BT Openreach an email and ask them when your area

and cabinet you are connected to will be upgraded for FTTC.

You can use this email below to contact BT Openreach directly.

nga.enquiries@openreach.co.uk

Unless you actually know the number of your cabinet that you are

connected to, then you will have to put in the email you send to

them your postcode and phone number so they can check for you.

You should get a response from them on wherever your area

and cabinet is planned for FTTC soon or not.

Re: BT Openreach engineer says i can get Bt Infinity but BT customer services says i can,t ?

Out of luck can,t get Bt Infinity Smiley Frustrated this is what they said.

I have measured the line length from the cabinet to the distribution point which feeds your premise and it is just over 2Km.

I’m afraid that the effective distance that fibre broadband will work is just above 1.5Km. (Around a mile)

Therefore, I’m sorry but you cannot order fibre broadband.

You should be able to order Faster total broadband I believe.

Re: BT Openreach engineer says i can get Bt Infinity but BT customer services says i can,t ?

Go to this link here, at the top it will say "What speed can I get with BT" click on the button and put in your phone number.

It then should appear two options unlimited and 40gb package, the package is up to 16Mb and will have Fibre Optic over the top. Though they did make the package show when they updated all the usuage, so it may not show anymore but they have removed it. You may need to phone up sales and try to order via that way.
