BT / Openreach information clash

Can anyone explain the massive disconnect between these two companies?

i am moving house next month and have so far been told

FTTC full by BT

FTTC full by openreach but capacity upgrade by september

FTTC order available by BT - so placed

All checkers then saying FTTC fine

checkers switched to waiting list

Openreach tell me g fast available but FTTC not yet

call BT to change order to G fast and told it’s not available

left not knowing if I’m going to be stuck with 1-2 ADSL when I move in

Who are you speaking to at Openreach?

Someone from the “Fibre Enquiries Team”. They seem to be able to confidently tell me the FTTC cabinet is full but due an upgrade but that I can get G fast. Yet BT have accepted my order and the date committed etc for FTTC but say no G Fast.
