Re: BT PREMIUM WHOLE HOME WIFI - ISSUES

I'm tempted by the premium 3 set - I would be using ethernet backhaul.

@kevin_marchant Are you still having problems with these units on backhaul and no 2.4 ghz band or have they stabilised?

Re: BT PREMIUM WHOLE HOME WIFI - ISSUES

I’ve given up on these, way too unreliable. For the price I expected better.

Got the Netgear Orbi RBK50 twin pack instead. So far so good 😊

Re: BT PREMIUM WHOLE HOME WIFI - ISSUES

Add me to the list of very annoyed customers with lots of disconnect issues.

One thing I have noticed in the logs is that when a disk disconnects the master resets the SSID to the factory default setting. I am wondering if I reset all the disks to factory default and don’t change any SSID/Password this will fox the disconnect.

Anyone tried this?

Yes the help desk has been told that new firmware for premium is due. But that don't have the date yet.

Re: BT PREMIUM WHOLE HOME WIFI - ISSUES

Broadband is BT

BT hub 6.

I have the hub 6 Wi-Fi still on..

I have had issues with Sky boxes disconnecting so have sky q and 2 of the 3 mini boxes connected to discs via Ethernet..

not sure if issues are to do with 5g channels trying to be used by sky and BT discs?

Re: BT PREMIUM WHOLE HOME WIFI - ISSUES

I have been told that Sky Q takes most of the channels so any mesh system on the same network has problems. But I can't prove it
