BT Premium Mail

Go to solution

Mother gone to a nursing home, but needs to retain her email address.

BT Broadband and Phone cancellation order completed yesterday, but there is no link in 'Manage Email' to switch to Premium mail as suggested in the help section.

Does it take a few days for the link to appear on her account page?

Re: BT Premium Mail

It should appear when the account is finally closed.

If you are a BT Broadband customer you could have her email account linked to your BT Broadband account and that will stop her from having to pay for Premium Email.

Re: BT Premium Mail

It probably does take a few days however I would call up the helpdesk to switch to premium mail immedietely.

These things can easily be forgotten to do in a few days and there is a risk of deleteion and further hassle later on.

Re: BT Premium Mail

Imported her address into my BT account, tested and working fine.

Thanks for the heads up, £7.50 per month saved that she can now spend on her Kindle books
