BT SMART HUB 2 900MBPS BROADBAND

Got hooked up yesterday. Best I can get with the ethernet cables provided is 630Mbps. Not sure what cat they are, wonder would new cat8 be worth buying to speed things up or is that the best speed I can hope for?

BT only say its above 450 so they're fulfilling their side. Bit of false advertising if you ask me.

Getting 600 over wifi on my S21 Ultra which I'm happy with so the hub seems good.

You only need CAT5e for Gigabit - you won't get any faster speeds with CAT6, 7, 8 etc.  Your PC or network card may not be fast enough to reach 900Mbps on a speed test - is it a modern PC?  Is it using a Realtek or Intel network card?
