Hi JohnC2,

I'm an engineer (not a telecoms engineer) and I read with interest the BT SMS post from @ned77 about his text fault issue. I have the exact same text fault on my BT landline except the delay in receiving text on my landline is 24 hours, not 10 minutes as with @ned77.  The text facility used to work fine for ages, but suddenly a couple of months ago all text messages were automatically voiced and delayed by roughly 24 hours. I'm getting nowhere with BT who send out engineers (3 to date) to test the line and find there's no fault. Reporting a text fault is impossible due to limited options. For convenience the 151 operator logs the fault as "no dial tone" or something similar, which the visiting engineers find frustrating to put it mildly. BT seem powerless to fix the text fault which  I suspect is most likely at the exchange.

If you were able to help @ned77 I'm hoping you might be able to shed some light on my identical problem.
