I used to have BT Home Hub 6 but when I configure Access Control for one device, all other devices are also blocked. After reading other customers' experience, I had requested BT Smart Hub 2. The first thing I noticed, was the fact that the Access Control feature on the PC, disabled, i.e. cannot be configured.
I then downloaded the MyBT app. At first I was able to configure the access control via my Android phone. It was not intuitive but it was working until today. There was a service outage in my area last night and today MyBT App no longer gives me the option to configure Access Control, instead it takes me to the bt.com page. I had defaulted the router to factory default but this made no difference to the issue.
In the meantime, I am not able to control my kids internet access. I don't know what exactly has changed so I had to removed my MyBT App several times and re-installed but this did seem to work.
Please let me if anyone else is having the same issue.
