Re: BT Smart Hub (Home Hub 6) Bug Reporting + Improvements

Charged me £9.99 for the bag of poo!

The SmartHub went in the cupboard and I keep using the HH5B.

Thinking about that bag, I could go out in the street with a couple of biscuits, find a stray dog and fill a bag. Much cheaper.

BT sort issue and this thread will cease growing.

It's been 6 months so how much longer and there

still running that b... advert?

and at 22000 posts are some of them (Dalkeith) yours? (JOKE)!! I have never posted on that thread and the fact you felt had to go back and edit your post to mention how many posts I have made attempting to help people who post on the forum beggers belief!

It's couched in 'responsible recycling speak' but mentions "we may charge you" if you don't

but could be a ploy to help them meet 'recycling targets' ...who knows.

Better to send it back than try to get that refunded later.

I even got an e-mail reminding me a week after I sent it back and have the

proof of posting receipt to prove it. Still monitoring my BT bill!!

If only we could all be as enlightened as you obviously are ! Personally the bigger the number of posts and more users openly stating their problems with this debacle . Then the better . The firmware updates are not working . The smarthubs are white elephants . In this day and age compared to most of the world. We are subject to a substandard service and offer . I'm paying £40+ a month for maximum 3 Mbps

Jaimespencer : Agree (twice).

BT efforts to date have reduced my speed by 50% and dis-connections continue.

Almost thinking it's diversionary tactics.

I wouldn't use the Smarthub or any other cheaply made ISP router for the masses and if I did I would have stopped using it by now if I had been having problems with it.

You would appear to be  case in point about blaming the Smarthub without any facts that it is the fault. I note you haven't done as ask for on your own thread.

Re: BT Smart Hub (Home Hub 6) Bug Reporting + Improvements

But paying for a service and expected to pay again to replace a defective
product... Not my view of acceptable.....

and I would blame HH6 if HH5 works on same line with no offer of

a refund for a HH6. (Already tried that!!) and tried all ideas I/we know of.
