Hello, so recently we purchased BT and our speeds were great! We were getting 48Mbps. Slowly it has decreased now we are at 41Mbps and sometimes 35Mbps. We are new and I expect the speeds to fluctuate but not by as much as they have been. Also the random disconects happen randomly as in; the weather can be find but the router loses connections or something along those lines. I am using a wired connection and I tested my speed using the BT tester but these speeds having been becoming more unusual the more I try to download things.
The first thing to do is a quiet line test on 17070 option2. Any noise report a line fault not a broadband one.
So, I have done a noise report on the phone line; there is some small noise but its like a one of thing if that makes sense as in; I done the test twice and it only appeared one its sort of like a crackling noise.
Report a line fault. You shouldn't get any crackling.
