BT Sport Pack Discount - charge rather than discount

I am due to move shortly so did not renew my  BT broadband and BT Sport package contract in December, and expected my bill to increase.

However there has been a charge each month since then, of £8.25 labelled “BT Sport Package Discount” that is being added to my BT Sport Package charge of £25?? Overall charge is £33.25

I appreciate I don’t have my in contract discount anymore but am now being charged more than the rolling/ cancel anytime offer due to a charge that is labelled as a discount.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

If you're not in contract then it's likely the out of contract charge being added on. If you call the options team you may be able to get a better deal overall anyway

Ah okay.

So is mislabelled as a discount rather than a charge, that’s confusing!!

Don’t want a new deal as I’m not taking BT to the new house as broadband speed is slow there and think I can get a better BT sport deal through my Sky Q account.
