BT Sport on miniboxes

Hello all

I am a bt internet customer and have just taken possession of the new sky q system together with two miniboxes. I have Bt sport on my main box but have been told that I cannot get it on the miniboxes. However following some people on the sky forum they are adamant I should be able to receive BT sport on the miniboxes. So the problem is Bt are telling me one thing and the sky forums another. Is there any chance someone could give me a definitive answer.

As far as I am aware, the SkyQ miniboxes are 'streaming devices' more than likely an extra box. So the main Sky Q silver box should be able to receive the BT Sport channels, and then you just watch BT Sport from the main box but streamed to your minibox. I don't see why there would be a problem tbh.

A number of people have got BT Sport on Sky minis. You do have to pay the BTSport second room charge of £5 per month to get it if you do not already have that

Might be worth trying again to see if you get a different adviser
