BT Sport on third party satellite box

Hi folks,

Can I get BT sport on a third party satellite box (Technomate). I can get the satellite signal from sky but don't have an active sky account. Do BT supply their own viewing card for BT Sport?

Thanks,

Adam

As far as I am aware you need an active SKY viewing card

Re: BT Sport on third party satellite box

BT no longer provide any viewing card services to new customers.

Re: BT Sport on third party satellite box

See,

How to get BT Sport with BT

As mentioned above, you need an active Sky viewing card. This can be for a normal 'Sky TV' subscription or for a 'Freesat from Sky' subscription (or possibly even no subscription but still active?).

I assume it also needs a Sky box to work correctly, though I'm not familiar with the Sky system and others might know better.
