BT Synergy 4500 showing the Letter 'A' on Base Station when I get an incoming Call

Hello all

 

I have a BT Synergy 4500 with three phones.

 

Recently, when I receive an incoming call the Base Station will ring once and then display the Letter 'A' in the Base Stations Display and the phones will lose connection to the Base.

 

Does anyone know what the Letter 'A' on the Base Station Display signifies?

 

I have looked in the manuals and on the Internet but am unable to find the answer.
