BT TV Cannot watch TV fro an entire episode without complete loss of signal

Watching  a channel on Tv tonight, not often I do (I`m getting 16.4 down and 4.95 up on speed checker ) yet I cant watch an hour long episode of TV  through the box????????   Its completely broken down twice. Just pixellates then goes to black screen for 3-4 minutes.  I pay a feckin fortune for the service frankly it should be better.

Any channels in particular?

If it's the free channels them it's an aerial issue so it's important to know the signal strength & quality on those channels.

If it's subscription channels it's important to know how the Youview box is connected to the router.

Its the Subscription channels eg National Geographic Car SOS i an yet to get through without loosing signal.

As for the method of connection TV box- router , its hard wired Caat5 / ethernet cable.
