I've had two occasions in the last week where I recorded a couple of radio programmes, and when I try to play them back - there is no sound, but the recording mhas the correct duration on it. I have previously recorded many radio stations. Does anyone know why I get no sound on playback?
I have noticed on the YouView forum that they have fixed this problem in a release yet to be available to us. See:
We'll have to wait until we get this release (or a later one) I guess.

Thanks for the info! Unfortunately, I deleted the audio recordings as I thought perhaps the issue was with the recording, not the playback. It must have been the previous software update that screwed up the playback. So, hopefully we will get the new release soon.
Hi Sarah !
My YouView Box (Humux Model DTRT2100) said it had done an update on Weds Oct 3rd and said it had checked for other updates on Oct 4th. So, I assumed the software update would be the new 31.62.10 Release which would cure the playback of recorded radio programmes (which is currently silent on playback). As it didn't cure the problem, I checked the software version installed and it said I was on the Manufacturer's Software Version 31.28.0 and Component Software Version 3.5.74. Why is my box so far behind in Software Updates?
Version 31.28 is the latest for the DTR-2100. The fix you refer to is only available on the retail box the DTR-2000 so far.
Unfortunately Youview don't announceupcoming release dates , they announce it when it's released. I suspect however that it won't be too long.
There is a sort of workaround as detailed on the Youview Community forum here:- Audio Playback Workaround
