Sorry! 😉

P.S. While boxes will update automatically, I have successfully pulled it through manually via Settings on both my T2100 and T4000.

Just updated and the tv shows and films looks an amazing feature and just what I want - however it doesn’t seem to aggregate nowtv, amazon prime and Netflix which would set it out against the rest.

its mostly just an advert for iPlayer and bttv player.

I never thought we would ever see this on BT boxes!

The TV Shows/Films section is what the previous Discover section became.

This is a feature I have been wanting for ages!

This update has TRANSFORMED my BT TV box!

Going into TV shows I'm like a kid in a sweet shop! 🙂

I now have a Featured section, yes, I know it's a mix of free and subscription, but it's clearly labelled.

A Just added section! 🙂

Last Chance section!, Top TV Series section, and so on!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

There is even Audio Described and Signed sections!

This update should have happened long ago, however it's here now, and boy does it transform the service!

I have been after the watchlist for ages as it works really well on any catch-up you watch to be able to straight away find the next episode and remember when you notice or hear about things you missed and can add them here from the catchup players so you don’t forget about them again. I think the discover section includes NowTV movies (maybe because they are in the epg/BT player (well sky movies)) but not from Netflix/prime, maybe because they are only in a stand alone app.

Hopefully some fine tuning could help 😀

A good update, however 2 things need adding....

1) A "New Series" section, I still actually use the Sky+ app to access new series or new seasons that are upcoming.

2) Can we please have a dedicated button to press for the MyTV section? or give us the option to have the Home button default to land on MyTV and not Guide....after all we have a dedicated guide button on the remote?!?

Fix them and you're getting there!

Actually under the films tab it does list NowTV movies. What this proves is that BT are a long way towards deploying full NowTV integration and I’d guess that once this is rolled out the TV shows will appear as well.

my assumption is that neither Amazon or Netflix are willing to provide an API to allow direct searching of their content outside the surface of their own app.

Both Netflix and Prime Video content is available in the standard search on a YouView box.

I don't think we will see Netflix content in the new TV Shows/Films sections any time soon because I'm pretty sure the deal they have done with Sky on that front is an exclusive, but I could be wrong.

Would love to see some Prime Video stuff in there if possible though.

@impydave  The annoying thing is the button codes are all there. I have a button setup on my harmony remote that with a single press will take me to the recordings section and also another one to take me straight into the BT Player. They are in the drop down list of commands to chose is the harmony software
