BT TV and Powerline Adapters

Go to solution

Just tried ordering BT TV but the (rude) salesman said that it MUST be used with Ethernet cable from the Box to the Hub. As it's over 10m of cabling they will charge £75 for engineer to "make and extension". Wouldn't Powerline Adapters work?

Thanks

Yes power line adapters will work fine. I use the TP Link 200+ pass though apapters with the BT YouView box in living room and they work 98%/99% fine.
I have the entetenmet plus the HD blot on and the BT film/box set bolt on.
