BT TV app

Hi guys

Sorry if this has been posted but I couldn’t see it anywhere. I finally got round to removing the now defunct Youview app from my iPhone and installed the BT TV app. Box paired and everything seems fine except one thing. I can’t for the life of me seem to send a remote record for the NowTV channels, all it does is tells me to tune in on X date. Everything else works fine (freeview and the bt sports channels) but no NowTV channels. Does anyone know if this is an issue or is it deliberate?

Hi @benwiddowson 

There is no difference in the process of setting recordings on the BT TV app.

It is dependent upon the data  and metadata provided for the programme  being accurate and complete. The maintenance of the data for some channels does seem to be much better than some others.

Thanks Zulu. I’ve just reinstated my BTTV box having had a brief dabble with Virgin. The hatred of the Virgin box and the love of the Youview interface has overridden the drop in broadband speed. I’ll give it a few hours to see if it sorts itself out. Thanks again.

You should be able to record Sky programmes from the BTTV app, I'm currently recording Carlos Santana Live at Montreux on Sky Arts by the same method
