BT TV freeview

Is there any hope future BT TV boxes will use freesat or IPTV base all freeview channels without using terrestrial freeview?

When I first moved here in August I had pretty much all the freeview channels available. Recently I've lost most of the wanted freeview channels and some are pixelated. I've retuned, bought a new aerial even tried an old freeview box. The same still happens.

Freeview is just so unreliable and ropey at times and just think there's got to be a better way! If it doesn't improve, then will have to get Virgin Media as I'm missing the basics of television.

Re: BT TV freeview

I've found that since the switch over to digital only that Freeview has been pretty rock solid.

Could it be you're tuning to a weak transmitter?

You can already get all the main channels over the internet, both live and on catch up, using iPlayer etc.

Re: BT TV freeview

Agh yes I discovered you can watch BBC channels live through Iplayer.

I've completely lost Sky News,Pick TV,Spike,Viva and several others.
