BT UHD TV box stuck on 1080i output

Hi,

 

We're having an issue where the HDMI output to our 4k tv is stuck on 1080i output trying to watch the 4k sport channel.

Have tried changing the output resolution setting on the box but changing that makes no changes and the output doesn't even switch to a different setting or resync.

its as though the resolution change is not working on the box, have tried a reset box in settings and also a maintenance mode download of software mode with no joy.

 

Anyone have this issue before or suggest anything to resolve it?

Are you using the HDMI cable supplied with the UHD box?

The cable is a 'premium' certified cable for 4k 50/60 4:4:4 12bit bandwidth, it's worked before at 4k, just started getting the issue recently.

Hi Gavin,

 

Now fixed,

had to switch tv off from wall, disconnect all HDMI cables, power up again and reset tv to default settings, reconnect HDMI cables.

 

All good 🙂
