BT Virus Protect installation problem

Trying to install the BT Virus Protect which is a McAfee product.  Click on the download and the setup/installation file downloads fine, run this and it brings up a McAfee install popup, and at the first step gives and error message that says;

'there is no product that can be downloaded with this account'

Tried BT support who just keep talking to me about NetProtect which is a different product and on contacting McAfee they have nothing to do with it and just send me back to BT.

Thanks in advance for any advice on fixing this one and if its any help I have the full BT unlimited broadband package that includes all the goodie.

Hi,

You should be thankful that it wouldn't download.  There are superior free AV tools out there.  Do a search for 'Free antivirus' and take your pick.  Paid for ones are vastly superior and don't cost the earth.

I have same problem and had no luck with 2 online chats, probably to India. Feeling very frustrated.

It,s working now

Just in process of downloading from google play

Just got to activate it

Well downloaded and working says active did not have to input activate code

Yep appears on mybt account

It even allow me to locate it

2 devices now updated and show on the mybt list

will update my phones now
