BT Wholesale and Openreach says 1Gbit but BT says 300 is my max

I currently have FTTP with the 300Meg offering. The Wholesale website says 1000/220 but when I called the FTTP team to regrade, they said what I had was the fastest they can do on the line. What would be preventing BT upgrading my line? I have the newest tiny Nokia ONT with no telephone port.

Thanks for that @Number9  ! I didn't spot that thread as it was under billing and I didn't think to look there. At least I know now that I am not alone!!
