BT With Fon On New Hub

Go to solution

Upgraded to Infinity 2, It was activated, and the new hub arrived. Its all fine, However the hub is broadcasting the BT FON wifi hotspots. I called BT and they told me that since I am not opted it, it should be fine. On my BT, it says that I am not opted it. Thanks.

You may have to wait a lot longer than that.  Other people on this forum have indicated that it can take BT up to 28 days to turn off BT WiFi.

You can check your status and opt out here. Opting out won't improve your service though, just as staying in won't be detrimental. Most of the opposition to being opted in is groundless.
