BT Yahoo! Mail

Never mind all this 'revamping BT Mail' how about moving me off BT Yahoo Mail and on to BT Mail.

I spent damn ages getting rid of all my disposable email addresses as instructed to do as I would not be able to take them with me and all for nothing.

Do you know how irritating it is to get these emails about the new, marvellous BT Mail when I haven't got it.
Well I'll tell you.... It's damn irritating!!!

Re: BT Yahoo! Mail

Well agreed but I was hoping the move would fix the issue with emails from my modelling forums getting lost without trace by Yahoo!. That would be a bit of an improvement. If it wasn't such a mammoth task I would move to non-BT email but the thought of changing all those registration email address makes me want to do something bad.....

Re: BT Yahoo! Mail

if you are still on BT Yahoo email as I am then you will not be migrated to the BT Mail system - migration stopped years ago and will never start

Migration was permanently stopped in Sep 2014.

What emails are you getting?

I've not seen any emails, but I do see the item on webmail login which when clicking the link takes the user to the forum sticky.

It could certainly confuse BTYahoo users as the screen is very different to BTMail webmail login. I would suggest a lot don't realise that there are two different types.

Re: BT Yahoo! Mail

The process of transferring Users from BTYahoo mail to BTMail has restarted.

It happened to me in mid January 2020

There is discussion about it at:

Re: BT Yahoo! Mail

As BT have not announced that the BTYahoo to BTMail migration has restarted it could be fair to assume that those of you who have been recently migrated are subject to a trial prior to any future mass migration of BTYahoo customers and are Beta testing the migration process for BT.
