BT box wiring! (Help please , bank hol with no internet looms!)

Hi, wonder if anyone can help ...
anyone able to advise what the wiring sequence should be on my BT open reach box?

It looks like there is a blue (A) and white blue (B) cables connected to the internal A/B connectors, but where do these corresponding cables then connect into? There appears to be two options - either they connect to the A/B connectors on the plate that fits onto the main box or they connect up to the 2 / 3 / 5 connectors on the rear of the faceplate - anyone got any ideas?

connections t terminals A&B on the bacplate of master are normally the main openreach connection from outside.  for extension wiring then you connect to terminals 2&5 on the back of detachable bottom half of an NTE5 master

Thanks imjolly!, that looks useful. One further question...

...how do the wires connect best into the connector points - do they go direct in vertically or are they meant to be horizontally laid across the connector? ...and how do they remain 'fixed' in place?

the lay across the terminal and then 'punched' in with an IDC tool  often they are plastic
