I’ve received a notification that my contract is ending and my price will increase by £10.
there are a choice of replacement contracts including the same for £10 less. When I follow the renew link against that cheaper option, I am presented nay with very expensive options.
how do I accept the cheap option shown in the email.
it seems that none of the online chat mechanisms are working and the phone line promises a 40 minute minimum delay. I’ve really no desire to add to BTs workload at this time, but they are the one taking advantage of this crisis by bumping up my bill without giving me a chance to sort their errors out.

If you call BT on 0800 800 030, they only deal with renewals, and should be able to help you.
Thank you.
Only a few minutes wait on that number. And they applied the price from the email without any debate. Just wonder why the online system was so different. They could have saved all of that manpower and the annoyance it caused me.
It is confusing because it's BT. I have the same problem as my contract is due for renewal and two options are listed. First is what I'm on at present, second is that plus this booster gizmo at extra cost that I don't need. But only the more expensive option is available. Do not like the way operates and will be switching.
