There is a defaulted account showing up on my Experian credit report from BT (from 2016)
This states that I owe £20.39. My online account shows that I don't owe anything.
I raised a dispute with Experian who raised it with BT. BT has said that I do owe this 20.39. They gave a number for me to call to pay.
When I called said number, they confirmed that I have nothing to pay to BT.
The guide for raising a dispute with Equifax which BT have on their website does not help me unfortunately. Equifax don't have the information for this defaulted account. Only Experian do.
Does anyone have any idea how I can settle this?
