That would have been nice - I did that as soon as you suggested it but have had no response from BT, nor any confirmation or tracking number. I'm at my wit's end!

Hi the tracking number would have appeared on a web page immediately after you sent the webform the care team normally reply within 3 working days they a small UK based team of BT specialists who will reply to you personally by either phone or email they answer all mails in turn and take personal ownership of a problem until completed

Still nothing from BT. I've called and spoken to numerous people now, all who say they'll call back but never do. What they can tell me though is that my email address does not exist and are asking if I am sure it ever did. (You would think after all these years of using it, I KNOW what my email address is?!)

The BT care team are very small they deal with each email strictly in turn they are kept very busy and sometimes it can take a little longer to get a reply

Tks, I appreciate that - I don't mean to shoot the messenger but this is SO frustrating.  I am being told my email address has been deleted and I don't seem to be able to get it back.  I am desperately waiting for several really important emails which may have arrived but I'll never see them.

The email address (unless it's a sub account in limbo state) - has not actually been deleted. When I tried this for you I could see that this isn't the case.

 

You say your email address is the primary - is your husband's email address a sub account off of yours ? Typilcally you would know this.

 

The mods should also be able to give those details I believe.
