My BT email is not coming through on my Mac and I get the message
There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Verify the settings for account “HK BT” or try again.
The server returned the error: The connection to the server “imap.mail.yahoo.com” on port 993 timed out.
What should I do about this please?
If you do a search of the forum for "email mac" you will find plenty of others who had/have the problem and just about as many answers as to how to fix it.
Sometimes just leaving it alone is the best answer and the email sorts itself out.
Have you tried accessing your email via your BTYahoo webmail? If you have use that meantime.
