BT email

Go to solution

My wife has an email address ending in 'btinternet.com' just had an email from Libby Barr today saying that if it is not linked to our broadband account by close of play today then it will be cut off. Tried to follow the link to our account and once we enter the account then nothing happens. Why such a poor link and why such short notice?

That sounds like Phishing, send that email to phishing@bt.com immedietely and change your password ASAP. Once you change your password, check your settings for any auto-forward rules setup.

It is a scam. BT will not ask you to verify or link your email to your account.

If you have clicked on links and "verified" your account you need to change passwords as soon as possible.
