Had exactly the same problem as you, tried livechat session with no joy, called 4 different BT departments where the operaters didn't have any knowledge or fed me incorrect information on "totally unlimited broadband with all P2P restrictions lifted". Finally got through today to a guy with detailed knowledge on the subject who set everything up and was re-contracted in a few minutes.
