Right surely there must be something odd here. My broadbands sitting at 1.5mbps and using the fon I've got 7.75mbps. How can the fon be so much quicker while I'm sitting paying for my snail broadband. Only went live today so hopefully speeds will increase to the minimum 2mbps but I doubt I'll ever see 7mbps. Being stuck on infuriatingly slow broadbands literally due costing me my job.
sounds like you have connected to BTWIFI/FON of a neighbour on a fibre connection
if you have a HH5 can you go to hub manager then trobleshooting then helpdesk and post 1-12
can you run btspeedtester and when first test completes then run diagnostic test and post results must be done with wired connection btspeedtester
are you using the test socket
can you enter your phone number and post results remember to delete number wholesale FTTC check last time your cabinet had a waiting list
try quiet line test dial 17070 option 2 should be quiet and best with corded phone
depending on your reply your thread may be move to corerct board and possibly merged with previous posts
