Re: BT NOT honest with customers

Be careful with the 'speed' issue. It's been said many times before - the service is "UP TO......" remember.

Re: BT NOT honest with customers

That is very true mate.

The same as we are not getting the true speed our lines can handle, yet other companies can provide it without difficulty.

I am not also getting equipment from bt that they agree to supply, that actually works.

The problem for me is that I have a Vision contract.

My vision works perfectly all the time.

If I cancel broadband, then vision has to go to, and as there isnt a problem with the vision, I will have to pay termination charges, so Im stuck.

What I can do though is ring bt everytime I have a spare hour to complain, complain, complain, and make as much work and hastle for them as I can until they fix my service.

And when it is fixed I will be applying for compensation back dated to the first day I reported the complaint.

Re: BT NOT honest with customers

Support is not there 24/7.

A few times I have telephoned the tech desk when I have arrived home from work, around 2230hrs, to get a recorded message saying "we are sorry, the BT department you are calling is now closed, please call back after 8am"

Re: BT NOT honest with customers

John mate, I use the 150 number as Im a bt customer, it theres a queue or no answer, I use the 0800 number.

Both of them go to the same place, just routed differently.

Both gave the 'closed' message.

Re: BT NOT honest with customers

there is a bloke on there complaining about getting 0.6mbs from virgin.

i would love a connection that gave me that much all the time.

my issue is that it keeps disconnecting, and then if i manage to get hold of an indian idiot, they say it vill vork in a few moments sir i promise you.

lies lies lies and broken promises.

Bt cannot match virgin media, no way at all for speed and not for customer service.
