BT infinity 2 won’t connect

Any one got any ideas why my infinity 2 smart hub is still purple. I have just moved house and my broadband and landline were activated yesterday. All my wires are in the right place and by have said there is no fault with the outside cables so why is my broadband still not connecting. I have been through all the trouble shooting and still hub is showing purple lights....😞

are you using the test socket with a filter which, if activated, will be the one place the connection should work

Yes I am using a filter which my landline is plugged into and that works for my phone

Yes, I took off the panel and plugged the filter into the test socket, the landline still worked but still no broadband connection

then it appears your broadband is not activated

Rang bt and they said broadband has been activated since yesterday

try resetting the hub by pressing the recessed button on the back and holding until the lights flash - 20/30secs

which hub version do you have?

Just did that again, stayed green for about 30 seconds then flashing purple again
