BT infinity signal strength.

I thinking of upgrading from normal BT broadband to BT infinity. The telephone wiring to my house and in  my house is pretty old.

Does anyone know if the voltage and current of the signal of BT infinity line coming into my house is the same as that for a normal Broadband line ?

I worried about  a short occuring somewhere in my house ?

Its exactly the same, both ADSL and VDSL are carried over the same normal telephone line.
