So the basis is i am unable to athenticate (Login) to my game League Of Legends (By Riot Games).
I have spoken with their engineers and they have responded with "it looks like you are specifically experiencing issues with your routing to our server. Specifically, it looks like you are experiencing network issues and latency spikes. At this point, I strongly recommend contacting your ISP and request a formal investigation into your local area connection and into your home network. Firmly tell them that you are experiencing network issues when trying to connect to our servers. Please keep in mind that you can use the files from your trace tests to support your investigation."
I also am unable to use Netflix on my firestick. This has the same problem, not being able to login and providing an error. Upon googling the error it states that it cannot connect to the netflix servers. (keep in mind i have checked that the servers are up)
I am able to connect using a VPN (This bypasses BT showing its a problem with BT routing) and have also spoken to BT on the phone which they then stated "We can only provide a speed test as you aren't using a BT router".
They also told me that they cannot provide an engineer to talk to as they could not locate a problem (They didnt even check for a problem as we were using their router).
Could anyone provide any suggestions on to how to fix this problem or who to speak to, to fix this problem.
Oh and btw. its only been these 2 so far that ive found. we also have internet access which is running at full speed.
I also work in IT and have had alook and belive it to be a routing problem with BT.
all feedback is welcomed (You will be more help that BT was on the phone).
I have provided 2 tracerts to the server which i connect to for League Of Legends (162.249.73.1).
