i have recently been having issues with my BT mail on my iPad and iPhone where after I access my emails on my laptop using Microsoft outlook the emails in my in box are then no longer visible on either my iPhone or iPad. New emails will then appear on my iPhone or IPad but as soon as I log onto my laptop and open up outlook they disappear. I never used to have this problem and feel I must have inadvertently changed a setting somewhere but have no idea where to go and look to sort this. Any help greatly appreciated
You need to check the settings on Outlook.
If you have Outlook set up as a POP3 account you need to go to the Advance settings and tick the box "leave a copy on server"
Your Iphone and Ipad will be set up as an IMAP account and that synchronises with the server which means that if your Outlook account is deleting them after downloading them they will "disappear" from the Iphone and Ipad.
