BT mini connectors

I have brought 2 single mini connectors.

I have done a reset on them in a double socket side by side and all I get after the reset is blue flashing lights on both.

When connected one to the hub and the other to BT box, I have no data light

Don't know if they are paired ?

Are the power sockets on the same ring main?

Yes...I have tried several double sockets wI thin the house.
