Having set up BT online after being tempted by an offer of a reward card I am disappointed to find that in truth this offer is not real! I have been checking online continuously to see if the reward page was updated with no joy.
I have now spoken with 2 representatives who have told me the offer is not on my account. I have raised a complaint and will apparently hear back in a couple of days.
They used standard phrases in response and the whole experience has not been good. I have screen shotted the entire conversation to add to my complaint.
However I should have been more savvy and checked these forums first as this is apparently a huge issue!! BT now have me locked into a contract and they hold all the cards.
What date did you place your online order, and what did you order?
You have to wait 14 days after your service was activated, before you can claim.
