BT's Debt Collector Letter

Hello there,

I lived in Manchester in 2009-2010, and moved to London last September.

I recently received a letter from BT's debt collector requesting payment for my old address.

I am surprised that I owe money to BT, as far as I have always used Sky for my phone line. What is even more surprising is that they actually have my present address!

However, during my rental period at the said time I had always received letters from BT requesting payment: it was from the previous tenant. 

Please advice how I should proceed, thank you.
