I could scream.....
have been a monthly pass purchaser £25, for a few months. Watched via my laptop, iPad the lot. No issues and my ID worked great. Have bought a Samsung smart TV and downloaded, updated and deleted several times over the last three hours. I cannot get logged in.
I have changed my password and refreshed, updated and deleted the app again and still no joy.
I get various error codes. (see title)
needless to say I have had huge issues getting through to customer serv or tech support
anyone any ideas?
ID001 means your username or password is incorrect.
ID106 means the same as ID006 on other platforms, and means a problem with the security on the account - e.g. it's locked out.
I would recommend you go to www.bt.com/sport/watch and try to watch a live channel. This should validate almost every part of the account. If that fails then go to www.bt.com/help/sport and follow the instructions for the error you saw on the web. If that succeeds then it's means there's a sync problem at our end - try changing your password on bt.com and try again. If that still fails, it'll need a manual kick from us - send me a DM and I'll ask a colleague to sort it.
