Re: BT web mail log in

Try clearing the history and cookies from your web browser. If your browser has the option, clear it from all time.

Re: BT web mail log in

Yes, I am having this problem. It has never happened before. I have tried on Chrome and on IE.  I don't want to keep trying in case it decides that there have been too many attempts.

Emails are getting through to Outlook and my phone.

At least you are getting them via outlook... mine has been stuck like this for two months on one laptop. (the one I use the most).

I have cleared history and cookies from all time and the same message appears if I try to log on from webmail. (I am using a PC and Chrome. )

Edit. I was transferred to the new BT email some weeks ago and it has worked perfectly up until this afternoon.

Re: BT web mail log in

I have cleared cookies and history from all time, closed down my PC, left it for several hours, tried again and I am still getting this message when I try to log into webmail. I can log into the MY BT page with no problems.  My emails are reaching me on Outlook, iPhone and iPad. I like to check webmail from time to time to see whether anything is in the spam folder.

Please has anyone any ideas what to do about it?

Hi @Jellicle,

Welcome back to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post.

Sorry that you're unable to access BT Mail via webmail at the moment.

Are you trying to access webmail via a favourite or are you using the Mail tab on Bt.com?

Are you able to access webmail on any other devices?

Thanks

Matt

Re: BT web mail log in

Thank you for replying, Matt.

I am using a tab in my Favourites bar to reach home.bt.com, where  I can log in with no problems. Then I click on the email button, where I am presented with a list of two of the BT email accounts we have. I select my own and then I type in my password. This results in the message.

I have not used the 'keep me logged in' option because I prefer to type in my password each time.

I am using Chrome and Windows 10 on a PC.

Yesterday before posting I cleared all my history and cookies from all time. We rebooted the router late last night.  My computer was turned off overnight as usual.

I have tried logging in on my iPadPro and the message is:

"Safari cannot open the page because the network connection was lost."

Yet the network is working well on all our devices, on both PCs and a music streamer. When the message appears the network is still live for other websites and there is a strong wifi signal symbol.

I am receiving and sending email through Outlook and on my devices. My husband says he can log in  to webmail from his own PC. We just want to use webmail to check for spam.
