Did I click 'save'?
Seven times so far...
Should be enough ...
As a matter of interest to get more information, is the account a typical BTinternet account associated with your BT Broadband account? Or is it Premium email? Is it s Primary or sub account.
Not sure if any of that's relevant, but might be useful.
It's a BT Mail account. Been using Yahoo for more than 20 years. BTMail has worked fine up until a couple of days ago.
I have, however, had a brief breakthrough - looks like the eighth change was the good one - my default appears to have changed, and I've switched my 'reply to' address too.
Hopefully this will tide me over until the elves turn it all back in the dead of night...
Hi Guys
Since we last posted we have seen a number more of you have had this issue either with your primary address or a sub account.
Can I ask you if you're affected to send me a private message just with the email address affected I will have this added to the list to be investigated and also to demonstrate the wider issue.
Thanks
Stuart

Same here. I don't want a xxx yahoo email address - phoned up, spoke to v unhelpful advisor who said nothing they could do i should set up a new address!!! Ive had my btinternet address for 12 years! How do i pm you?
You haven't actually got an xxx yahoo email address. All that has happened is the default sending address has changed. You will still receive emails sent to your real address, unfortunately if you send using that address the replies won't reach you. Just change the default sending address back to your real address as described in message 19 of this thread as a workaround.
Incidentally, is this also connected to the recent change of having to sign in every two hours as a 'security measure'. Another thing currently driving me to distraction...
Yet another reason to use a mail client..........
Hi @davidramsay
Sounds like a similar issue though, send me a private message with your @btinternet.com or btopenworld.com email address.
Thanks
Stuart
