MSOutlook by choice but that is not free. Of the free ones I think Claws Mail or eMclient are preferable to Thunderbird which I find has a quirky interface. Try them all and see which suits you.

This new Yahoo mail address is set as default, my original is now labelled an extra. I have to change it before EVERY Email is sent. Utterly ridiculous. Receipients are contacting me asking if I've changed by email address as the Yahoo one is active on send and receive ( even if its actually using the btinternet address) All very frustrating. Worked fine for over 13 yrs....now this nonsense in last few days. Lets hope its fixed soon.

I'm out of the office now but my colleague @JohnC2 is on the boards this evening.
Can I ask if you have messaged but not included the yahoo.com id can you pm him.
If you are experiencing this issue and haven't pm'ed yet please send a private message to johnc2 with both the @btinternet.com and @yahoo id's and he will add them to the case. If anyone has a screenshot they can pm showing the issue that would also be great.

Is there any update on this, just had pointless online chat and phone call with BT, they state unaware of envy issues. Still have a primary email address never heard off and emails rejecting.

BT saying they haven't heard of this before is either disingenous or inefficient. I raised the issue in 2 online chats on 30/31 Mar 28. At the time I felt it may be related to their additional security requirements for My BT. Other users have been in touch with BT as mentioned in this thread.

BT saying they haven't heard of this is either disingenuous or inefficient. I had 2 online chats with them on 30Mar18. Other users in this thread have also been in contact with them. I suspect that all they are doing is saying there is no issue with the BT side and as its only the Yahoo App that has the issue then it's not being flagged as a BT known issue on their error reporting system. Given that BT created the working relationship with Yahoo in the first place and have relued on Yahoo to provide a mobile App then BT should show some responsibility here. Have I missed it or is there no response from Yahoo at all in this thread. When's a relationship not a relationship? When it's between BT and Yahoo, it would seem.
